8v or 16v ?

Is it true that impreza sport models come in 2.0 8v or 2.0 16v? someone told me earlier models were 8v however later models are 16v, yet they are all 123bhp? I was pretty convinced they were all 16v...?

I was sure they were all 8v as the turbo's have twin cam. But many on here have said there 16v

Iv had 2. 97 GL and 98 sport. Both had 16 valve stamped into the heads.
