I'd say there would be slight differences, would be worth doing imo just purely so you know you have no restrictions in place at all.

I'd say on paper it would make differences, but I doubt you would really notice much when driving.

As for noise, I doubt it would make much difference if any.

I'm really picky about this, as I want a true 3" from the turbo back for my classic, but cant find one. So I'll probably go with the NUR spec, Hi Power or Afterburner R. Then I will probably end up getting it made into a true 3" if it bugs me, Lol.

Decat more freer flowing than a sportscat - but not by much. If you do go for a sportscat, then make sure it's agood quality job e.g. H&S, that's 100-cell type (NOT 200-cell). It's touch and go whether a sportscat will still get through the CO test come MOT time though (depending on the health of your engine).

The full decat downpipe will give noticebly more noise (mine did). The 3" system should be a bit noisier too, but not by much.

True 3" system is only really required if going for 400-500bhp or more. Otherwise a 2.5" one should be more than adequate in expelling the gases.

If you feel that you're gonna keep modding and go for 'big' power in the future, then I'd defo fit a full 3" bellmouth decat and true 3" system of proven quality/performance. That way you won't have to spend out again on the turbo-back sections of the exhaust system...

Where can a true 3" system be picked up from? I'm having no luck finding one, Lol.
