Default extra pipes on my new radiator!

hi just a quick one peeps just bought a rad off the net opened the box and examined it and it has two small brass pipes coming out of the bottom hose side of the rad.on the site i purchased it from it says its for many scoobs and legacy so im asuming that these pipes are for another model as they are not on my old one.so can i run a piece of pipe from one pipe to the other to bypass these? cheers

Its to suit automatics. No need to branch them off as their seperate from the actual rad.
