Default Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable

Hi,

I have an 05 blobeye STI8 PPP.

Does anyone know if the Openport 2.0 cable be used to re-map the ECU and which Open Source software can be used with it?

On a slightly different note, just changed the fuel pump, Walbro 255 in there now. Imagine my surprise when the garage showed me how all the identifying information had been ground off of the old one. The scoring was obviously deliberate and from the oxidisation, had occured quite some time ago (Before I bought the car). Any ideas as to the motive?

RomRaider - Open Source ECU Tools | RomRaider / Rom Raider and you'll get all the info you need on the open source stuff and the tactrix compatability.

As for the fuel pump, goodness knows.

The PPP pumps have all markings ground off with a rubber sleeve covering the outside.
Its thought the Prodrive pumps are walbro 255 models in disguise.

From what I have heard, if you look @ the cogs inside the pump and they are steel then it's an updated pump. If plastic then oem. They are also meant to be larger although you would need 2 side by side to tell if the cogs were different sizes.
