Default Adjusting throttle position sensor MY96 STI

Just replaced my sensor due to the old one having a cracked housing. How do you tell if it's in the right position as there seems to be some adjustment by rotating the complete unit forwards and backwards on the throttle spindle?.

I've basically put the new one on where the old one was but would like to know it's properly set-up!!

Thanks for any help

Can get perfectly good digital ones off eBay from a tenner or less. I have one and it reported my Lambda sensor and battery voltages just fine...

You only need to do Step 3 and the ECM is your Electronic Control Module or ECU as most people call it.
