PLEASE HELP.... Fitted fuel pump and yellow injectors

Default PLEASE HELP.... Fitted fuel pump and yellow injectors

Hello, i fitted a walbro 255 fuel pump today and yellow injectors to my 1995 wrx import, started it up and running on 3 cylinders, and pooring out with smoke out of exhaust, and the exhaust is real wet with fuel in it, please help, what have i done wrong?

unless its mapped for the larger injectors its going to be well overfueling and flooding the cylinders

Seconded, fitter higher flow injectors and they flow more fuel, your flooding the poor thing, you need to change back until you have a remap booked!

A little knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge at all!

as above you cant just fit injectors and expect them to work!, secondly you have more then likely nipped on of the injector seals causing it to leak and run like it is, you need to take them out asap, and change the oil at the same time as the excess fuel will be washing the oil from the bore/s.

As all above + you can't map a 1995 ecu unless you have an ESL chip fitted or fit an aftermarket ecu. All the plug in chips only support 380cc injectors.

Put it back as it was, it must be remapped to work with the larger injectors, you may get away with the fuel pump.
