Question

Not PTMW! but the Vectra (must get a name ) had a new screen the other day & new wipers to go with it.

They make one heck of a noise They interfere badly with the Hard House Trance I play on my commute

I've swopped them over but still the same

Obviously oil will do the trick, but not really practical

Most noise happens when it rains

Slightly academic now that my 3 week old screen has 18" crack in it ( ) but as I haven't had time to get the repairers out, I've still got large squeeking

Next time, they won't go without proving to me that they won't make a noise

Puff,

Give windscreen and blades a good clean with a car shampoo and then drain waser bottle and fill with water only (ie, no screenwash)

That should do the trick

Clean the windscreen with Autoglym Glass Polish.

Works a treat, wipers just glide over it
