Default RAC Trackstar

hi, i have a 2003 sti with a standard tracker fitted, someone told me they had to have the longlife battery replaced in the transponder in the car ,apparently they last about five years or so before they stop sending a signal , a local dealer said the same , and someone at trackstar didnt know but said they would get back to me, that was months ago, so maybe someone on here could clear this up before i ring trackstar again. Cheers.

I had a battery replaced, but when the bloke frome tracker come out he tested and said to me that the batterys are rechargeble and there is no way it can stop working.
Because i have payed over the phone for the job He did, i never got my money back.
Plus i think if they want U as a customer, they should provide U with the staff free of charge other wise go somwere else.

BTW. this is my opinion
