dump valve good or bad
hi all hearing a lot of things about dump valves is it going to kill the scoob 2000 turbo classic 1998 getting a Bailey Dump Valve DV26

it wont kill it mate, more a question of what you prefer and whether you like the noise or not. I ran one for a while but got fed up of the noise and went back to standard recirc, the recirc DV makes for a smoother drive in my opinion.

I have a bailey on mine (actually the third one) and iv got to say i thinks its worth spending a bit more and going for somethimg else. Mine usually sticks shut and make the car run like crap. saying that it has stuck open once or twice, seems to attract dirt in the open piston chamber a right pain in the ****. Id say try a HKS bov or something.

While we're on this topic again- does anyone know about the twin piston vs standard diaphram valve thing - I have bot a Bailey and a blitz valve - the blitz one is a single piston and seems to clamp the boost better are there any issues about these as the twin piston is supposed to be specificaly for MAF cars???
