Default Exhaust Paste

Just planning the fitting of my newly aquired PPP backbox and straight through centre pipe. Its so long since I did an exahaust that I'm not sure should I be putting exhaust paste of the gaskets, which is new BTW?

ive never bothered with paste on any of my exaust changes ever. new gaskets is all you need which you have, and never use any kind of paste before turbo as it will break off and dragg into turbine etc.
also in the past did a manifold on a vectra with paste and got into cat and blocked it causing car to max sped at 10 mph till got home and caused head gasket damage with back preasure a week later cost a bit to repair

i put new exhaust on and the cheap gaskets blew staright away down the road so if u have genuine good thick gaskets then shouldnt have problem and no need for paste
