Air compressor help
I've decided to get myself an air compressor and some air tools for use in the garage but don't really know what I'm looking at so could do with some advice.
I want to be able to run an impact gun, tyre inflator, air drill, maybe some light spraying work and parts blasting. What sort of size should I be looking at? Also, is there a kit of tools I can get? What makes should I avoid?

You need as big a air tank as poss for spraying so its not kicking in every 10 seconds and at least 3.5 hp imo,
I run a 110 ltr direct drive compressor (from ebay a lot cheaper then machine mart and spot on) Im running exactly what your after doing with great affect,
Get a good quality hose as the cheap ones break down quickly and you get lots of daft air leaks.

If your running 240v biggest compressor you can run is 3hp or a duplex which is two 3hp motors.3hp with 150 ltr receiver will be fine but you will only be able to run one tool at a time.sanders take lots of air to run, spray guns, impact wrench and the like do not need alot to run them.Or try and find a small cheap petrol driven machine.
