Clutch problem?
Hello - My standard 99 Turbo 2000
I was stuck in a big traffic jam yesterday and this was mostly on a slight gradient. I was on and off the clutch for about 45 mins and not moving much to get out of 1st gear. When stopped took foot off clutch and into neutral and handbrake on. I noticed because of this that my clutch felt a lot different about half way through. Its as if the bite point was higher up than usual and was getting a lot of juddering and felt like the clutch was slipping and felt heavy. Once the traffic cleared i drove about another 60 miles of motorway and when i next changed gear the clutch returned to normal operation. I know there is clutch fluid and that was full so was just wondering if the clutch was getting too heated up in the traffic? Has this happened to anyone else? Clutch been fine since and no problems with gears etc. Acceleration was the same. Road speed too. Tks any help

I'm certain it just overheated during that arduous period.
If it does it again under 'normal' conditions, then be concerned... lol
