Default Standard boost figures?

Hi all, i was just wondering what is the standard boost for a 94 classic wagon? Mines boosting at 15psi which i have been led to believe is around standard but i would like someone to confirm.

Cheers Rich.

So would you say running 1.5bar is too much and things might start going pop?

You wouldn't be able to... Fuel cut will prevent that kind of boost without a fuel cut defender... I ran my saloon at 14.7psi (1 bar) for a while before changing the map and it didn't blow up... I reckon your 15psi is a safe(ish) compromise... Go beyond that and I'd suggest a wideband and knock detection, but I'm ultra careful!

Cheers mate, i was just a bit concerned that i was running too much boost and things might start to melt, lol. The trouble is i dont have that much history with the car to say whats been done its its life time apart from the guy i brought it off had a new engine put in it as he bought it with a blown engine and he told me he had all the fuelling/boost set up to run safely as it is and i've got to say it runs and pulls really well and in my opinion its bleeding quick!!!

Yup, Impreza's will do that!!! ;-)
If it were me, I'd get it rolling-roaded at some point to make sure that it is running ok.. DET can be hard to detect with these engines even to trained ears, so it's worth giving it he "once-over"... You know only to run it on Super Unleaded, right?
Anyway, good luck with it and welcome!!
