I've seen one at RCMS it had a shiny chrome appearance. I asked what had been done to it and I was informed it had been ceramic coated. It looked very nice indeed.

RCM do polishing at £250 on an exchange basis, theyre coated with something aswell though, didnt really pay much attention as their stuff if stupidly priced so sending them mine wasnt really an option when surfacing places do it at £100 cheaper

not really thought of coating an inlet, surly if the inlet is warm then ceramic coating it will keep the heat in & increase charge temps?? maybe wont be as hot using inlet spacers though? i know the spacers are meant to make a lot of difference so i bought some

Are you thinking it will keep the heat out?

Thsi will help prevent some radiant heat getting in and the shine will reflect heat also. Zircotech do a good range of coating including different colours

Well yeah... I was thinking it will keep the hot air out, and the cold air in...?

Problem is it's one of those things that sound so simple that it's bound to be the other way around ?
