Default Converting re-circ dump valve into atmospheric

Am I right in thinking I could get that showy offy noise out of my standard dump valve, capping off the tube back to the air box and just leaving the end of the valve open?

ur better off removing the resonator from the intake, this gives noise and keeps ur engine pretty happy

you must have seen the resonator(ugly black thing) in the offside wing when you fitted your front mount.

Doesn't your brother know the answer to this one?

If you've already got a cone filter in, no, the resonator isn't doing anything other than add excess weight to your car. If by "aftermarket filter" you mean a panel, then the resonator is (or should) still be connected.
