Hawkeye STI help!!
Firstly what ive done to the car
STI panel filter
2nd De-cat pipe (one after downpipe)
straight through center section
Ninja 2 Bbox
whilst driving today I noticed a rattle from under the car when the revs were going back down to tick over, I went to a garage (that I know) that specialise in subaru's and others and first thought were that a heat shield had come loose
after checking them they were fine but it was still rattling
then took the 2nd De-cat pipe off and looked into the downpipe (standard one) and it was the Cat!! it had came loose and was causing the rattle,
so out it came!
1. so do i now have the equivalent of turbo back De-cat and is this good enough for a remap?
2. is it safe to run with the downpipe still in without remap for a bit? (no cel yet)
3. Im getting quite a few pops from the exhaust, Is this normal?
4. What should I do?
any help would be great as i havent got much knowledge in this area
*It sounds awesome and is spooling up quicker

Dont waste your time and money on engine mods if you are not going to get the car remapped. If you want the car running without fear of lights coming on and possible engine damage get it done mate.

Yes or if nothing else you should get it checked with det cans, wideband and laptop to check all is good.. but you would see good gains with remap.
2. is it safe to run with the downpipe still in without remap for a bit? (no cel yet)
needs checking..
3. Im getting quite a few pops from the exhaust, Is this normal?
probably running quite rich and normal for oe ecu.
4. What should I do?
get it checked or remapped imho.

spooling quicker - therefore on boost sooner than orignal ecu map expected another reason to get it check etc.
