CONE FILTER INLET TRUMPET ???
Would there be any benefit in using an ally inlet trumpet betwen a large K&N cone filter and the Z32 MAF? (for when I fit an I.K. when I fit a FMIC).
Or does the presence of the MAF negate (slow down again) most of the trumpet's air speed-increasing effect?

Yeah, looking at it logically, it can only aid the way the air enters the MAF, I suppose - think I'll add one to the ever-increasing shopping list, lol.
Yes mate, shes's running lovely - gotta love that turbo torque catapulting you out of apexes ... and past bemused pilots of lesser cars .
Recently snared a Hyperflow FM , big K&N cone intake system... just gotta get 740cc and some silicone hoses, etc... then off to Zen's again for another remap to hopefully 320-340!
