I think it's a tight fit between the DV 90-deg outlet pipe and your ISCV. You may have to manhandle the v.3/4 TMIC around a bit to clear it to be able to get the rubber or silicone hose on it.

Unfortunately, there's not much space 'twixt TB and bulkhead on early MY93-96 cars

idle speed control valve.

It's directly in line with the v.3's IC DV pipe (beige round thing bolted to the inlet manifold - looks really old fashioned, like something off a 50's typewriter lol) - hence the problem.

See here:-

As you can see the MY97/98's ISCV is further over to the centre of the IM, so ain't a problem. If you pop your lid, it'll be obvious how further over to the N/S the MY93-96's ISCV is!!!

Well if you want to run DV'less forever, then just angle-grind off the pipe, make up a suitable ally blanking plate and weld over the hole.

Then plug the recirc port on the intake pipe with an alloy bung and jubilee clip. You can get these bungs from various silicone hose retailers e.g. Viper, etc...

You will get gains STi 3 over version 2 TMIC but the gains are not particularly great while the effort is more than just a simple fitting job so you might be better off putting your time, effort and money towards and efficient FMIC. Do it properly and do it once.

I've followed harvey's advice and got a Hyperflow FM ready to go on, mapped etc.

I apologise harvey - as you may be aware I was going to order a Hybrid from you, but saw a full Hyperflow kit on ebay that seemed to good to pass up...

Thing is mate, I think the v.3/4 and v.5/6 TMICs are only good for 320-330. The v.1/2 is good for 300 pushing it.

And in all cases when hooning it, ACT's get worryingly high (more so on the v.1/2, admittedly)...
