I have found that one, looks good, have you tried one at all?

Would i need the rubber to seal it, or will that metal be low enough?

the metal rim fits snugly into the sti8 intercooler i wouldnt bother with adding a rubber lip
there is a metal air splitter which is a bit tight with the oe scoop so i removed it as i didn't want to add a huge sti8 scoop
dr motorsport make a larger sti7 scoop but looks oe style just 25mm taller which would do the job nicely and looks decent imo and the splitter would do the job then

cheers
