Right I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this..

But just wondered if anyone could help me on a few things..

I've just picked up a 1995 2000 turbo wagon, I dont really know much at all about classic Impreza's..

Are all 2000 Turbo Impreza's UK cars? Or is it possible mine could be an import?

Also, would being a 1995 make it a Version 2 or.....?

It is the slanted intercooler type engine, is this the engine thats in all classics of this age? If so, will any of the classic STi TMIC's fit?

Also my last question, would this engine be a CDB, SCDB or ODB?

UK cars (classics) are all Turbo 2000s (wagon or saloon)
Yes the early cars did have slanty tmics (all classic tmics can be made to fit although a fmic is a lot easier)
there should be some hatch markings by the crank sensor (front of the engine) = CDB

I was just a bit confused as to the indicators being on the right side. As I swear it wasnt like that in my other 2000 turbo..

Did the STi not use the slanty intercooler then?

The early STIs (pre facelift) had slanty silver tmic that were bigger.

VIN number will 9 digits for an import 17 digits for UK car

Which Car is a WRX STi piccy on here shows an import vin plate (the vin has been partially obscured GC8-)

I couldnt find the little hatch markings near the front of the engine, I had a look all over.. Could just be me being thick, Lol.
