Default Oil pumps

Someone talk to me regarding uprated oil pumps

Theres a lot on the market, some bigger then others? some are standard ones modified etc but what gets me is the price! why are some more expensive at certain places?

How do i know which one i need for my car? 1999 turbo 2000 running 350+ power wise or will any do?

I think of it as "insurance", mine will probably get a 20% up-rated pump, 12mm rotor IIRC.
Not cheap, but the extra flow will help remove heat from the engine's internals.

Would also like to know the about... plus is it better uprating the oil pump if you fit an aftermarket oil cooler? or will the standard one be alright?

been nodding around the 12mm ones are really expensive compared to a normal one with this relieve valve mod
