Default No power to my washer pump!!

My windscreen washer pump stopped working to the other day, so I got hold of a new one for a few quid, put a new connection plug on and it still don't work! It's obviously not recieving 12v. What on earth could it be? I checked the fuses but they all seem ok (just to make sure the fuse box is on the right hand side of the engine bay right??). Nothing else is going wrong in the car.

1995 classic turbo automatic.

where do the wires from the pump disappear into? it cant be that complicated!

There is a fuse box inside the car. On my '99 its to the right of the steering column. Not sure if its the same with the early models but there will be one in there somewhere for all the elec systems e.g washers, windows, interior lights etc. The under bonnet ones are main engine fuses e.g alternator, headlights, etc.
