Question TD05 front entry conversion + rebuild kit????

hi i have a uk my99 turbo and am looking for more power so have decided to get a new turbo (with other mods and a map) ive managed to source a td05 but obviosly its got a 90 degree elbow + its done over 80k.
now heres my question i have found rebuild kits for £50 on ebay;
a; are they worth rebuilding and is the kit any good and also is it easy to do?
b; what is the best way to convert to front entry can you buy a front entry compressor housing or is there another way?

hopefully some1 can come back to me and tell me yeah its easy but probably not lol anyway cheers for answers in advance

rebuild kits are rubbish how are you surpose to balance the turbo once you have rebuilt it typical ebay crap, td05 20g is it?, i have one and found it very laggy but once on boost its an animal, dont know much about the front entry part some others will have a much better idea of that than me

i thought the only thing that needed balancing in a turbo is the actual turbine but if im using the same 1 it wouldnt matter would it? and no its not a 20g as i think thats a bit of an overkill for a uk engine on standard internals so just the 16g at the moment

Id be interested to see how this pans out mate if ya dont mind as im looking to go down the same route. The two options i had were to either cut the elbow and weld, or buy a new housing....

Let me know how you get on with Andy F as i may be doing the same
