Im trying to change my sidelight/parking light bulbs. i have managed to get the grille off etc and cant seem to get the headlight assembly out. no matter how much i push and pull the bloody thing i cant get it out. Any ideas on what to do?

what model/year?

 

If it's a Classic, then you must remove the sidelight 1st

The headlight has 2 nuts facing forward and two on the side - have you undone and removed all 4?

 

sorry its an 03 plate sti, ive taken the grille off with 4 clips and two hooks, taken 2 bolts off each headlight assembly and it just wont budge.

You quite certain there are only 2 bolts holding them on?!... Have a closer look around the unit to see if there are any more...

 

So its a bugeye.

By chance I was reading this post: https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...st-ever-3.html

and it states there are 3 bolts on the headlights. The other is behind the bumper.
