oil in intercooler

Default oil in intercooler

stipped turbo off my subaru legacy tt today because oil was spluttering out of the exhaust.
found oil in the intercooler,cound this be the cause off the turbo??
or sumthing more sinister??need help
have another turbo to replace it.

turbo is on road out.make sure you take intercooler out aswell as will be fool of oil this will need cleaned out.

what would you recomend
would it benafit putting oil catch tank in

if car pretty much standard you dont need catch tank.new turbo,clean intercooler.job done
