Anyone uprated their TB ant noticed a power gain or difference in power delivery?

seen the 70mm uprated ones.

What do we think i could expect from that? or what about spacing a TB further from the manifold, would this affect the power/torque curve do we think, similar to what a TB set would on a normal 4 pot engine, as iv heard angle and length of TB trumpet can alter power!

Looks like the rs25 lads over the pond are into it..on N/A though. Surly the same principle should apply for forced induction?

 

I got mine ported by someone on p1woc, i cant comment on what difference it made as i had it put on with loads of other bits and then mapped. Bob did say it was a good little mod though

No doubt somewhere beyond 400 bhp it will be of benefit, I'd like to think !

Agree with that dunx, the n/a boys love them, especially the honda pervs. The spoon t/b's are mental money!
