Smile Harvey Smith Modified 3 Bolt Uppipe

I have just fitted one of Harvey Smiths modified 3 bolt upipes for the GT Spec 3 Bolt Headers.

What a difference these have made to the spool up of the car prior to fitting the car would spool 1 bar at about 3500 rpm and 2 bar at 4100 rpm, with no other modification the car is now spooling 1 bar at 3100-3200 rpm and 2 bar at 3700-3800 rpm.

If you have a set of 3 bolt headers this is a great modification to help the spool of the turbo.

My car is a Hawkeye STI with FP Red Turbo running 560bhp

I just bought the up pipe as I all ready had the headers on - about £160 as I had to buy a new 3 bolt gasket and cant remember exactly how much that was.

Speak to harvey for the exact price.

I sell the three bolt flange headers for £375 complete with the up-pipe supplied.
Wrapping with DEI heat wrap and doing each runner separately, not two or four at a time is £95 and a work of art.
I have been working on perfecting the design of the performance three bolt up-pipe since last March and after a lot of flow bench work we came up with the final design and product release after numerous test sessions this March.
A number of owners suffering late spool from tubular headers have been pleasantly surprised.
The release price of the up-pipe, stainless steel, slip jointed, DEI wrapped with 5no. new Subaru studs is £139. Overnight delivery £12.50 but the price will be reviewed in the near future.

As above, i am as impressed. Same swap, only my car was remapped also at the same time. Same improvements which may seem a little in numbers, but in gear driving has changed a lot with more response and better boost.
Oh i forgot, i did have a 3 port boost valve as well.
