Default alloy wheel advice

Hi everyone

Quick question if i was to purchase some 18 inch alloy wheels what size tyres would I need on std spring and shocks in order not to rub the arches

also could you tell me the same measurements for 17 inch wheels as I havent made my mind up yet which to go for thanks in advance

215/35/18's on my Type r at mo. But this is with a uprated cusco suspension setup and modified springs.

So couldn't really comment on the standard setup for you.

Not sure about the 18's but on your classic with 17's you will need 215 40 17's to get the most accurate speedo reading. You can use a 205 45's as well but I think these tyres are harder to find. I have 17's on my MY99 and I use the 215 40 17 and they look really good.

As said 215/35/18. Any wider and you may get problems. Its more to do with the offset of the wheels.
