Default 2 Port boost solenoid? 3 Port.......

bit if a silly question for most of use on here. but im clueless with these boost solenoid? whats the difference? do you only change it if you have a boost controller?

I dont have a boost controller and im going to change mine as they are apparently meant to give you more stable boost control when you raise the boost.

This is true, only really needed when havin a remap and increasing boost. But dont just fit 1 as it needs mappin to you car.

New 3 port boost solenoid valves with fittings. £65 plus £6.50 postage next day before 13:00.

Make model etc.

Is it true you need the car remapped if you have one?

They are MAC. They have a long electric lead/cable.
These are the solenoid valves used by Hybrid on their boost controllers, Simtek on their ECU installations and I see Bob Rawle also uses them and I am sure many others use them too.

New.
I will take a photo tomorrow but it just looks like a three port boost solenoid valve.

can anyone tell me how to fit one of these onto my bugeye sti am going for a remap with andy f and dont have a clue how to fit this thanx
