Default COOLANT SENSOR

Alright, does anyone know where to find the coolant sensor on a impreza turbo 1998. cheers

It's on the coolant crossover pipe directly behind the alternator. Remove the alternator as its easy removal and see behind it, you will see brown sensor which is the coolant sensor and there will be another sensor with a spade terminal and thats the gauge sensor.

The gauge sensor is not fitted to this as it used the latter grey type sensor, but this is where it is, you can see the EJ20 engine badge there, should give you an idea.
