Default cylinder head problem

Hi everyone I have a 2000 turbo on a 1999, my problem is that I was driving with out full boost there was a strange smell at first, I slowed down for around about was coming off round about there was like a bang noice pulled ova straight away a load of blacky blue smoke came past so turn off car straight away left for a few mins started back up and smoke was coming from cylinder 3 and exhurst ,started to drive home slow as the aa couldn’t come and I needed to pick my little boy up,the car was juddering like mad lose of power ,couldn’t do more than 40mph as would smoke like owt through exhurst, when I got home got the aa to come out,the so called mechanic said it’s the turbo so got a new 1 tarted it up and still did it, then I started to strip it i found in cylinder 3 the valves are stuck slightly open on the inlet (both) about 1-2mm and 1 of the exhurst valves on the same cylinder moves slightly and on the other cylinder head left handside there are small cracks around the spark plug
i didnt do a comp check at first i thought it was the piston rings at first
now i have seen the cylinder heads i think it might just be valve guides, valves, seals, and maybe springs?
do you think it could be piston rings?
thanks alot guys
will pos pics later 2day

Glad you got this up macca, i still think it's a bent valve there somewhere plus the issue regards to the cracking you refer to is common on these heads unfortunately and this could also be one of the issues.

I will check back once the pics are up.
