And the CEL is on. CODE 22 - knock sensor.

Suggestions?

is this a trick question? the knock sensor is under the alternator.
does the car not start? or does it cut out randomly?
if so then try changing it.

Laptop have a look here mate you wont go wrong, as the knock sensor is not located at the front (thats the oil pressure sensor) but it;s located directly above number 4 cylinderish.

sti baly is right. i made a mistake. i was thinging of the crank position sensor for some reason. sorry
