Hi. I have a 01 bugeye wrx, and i have a burned piston ring. I'm thinking to install mahle forged pistons, which needs a max of 2 thou clearance. What I want to know is, if I can simply replace the pistons, or need to slightly increase my bore? Thanks.

I would think you will have to increase the bore size as they will most certain be oval, you should get a good engineering work shop to check it properly for you.
