Hey guys, I know this is a bit of a blonde one but does anyone know where the ABS relay is located in a MY97? Cheers

 

Not sure but if the light is coming on then pop the bonnet and listen for a buzzing sound. If you can hear it then try and follow the noise! You haven't had the back seats out for any reason have you? There is a connection under there and sometimes they get disconnected by accident also have you checked the fuse?

 

Thanks, checked that all seems tight. the light only seems to come on in the wet

 

Could be water getting into the sensors, you could try and spray any connections with WD40 or an ignition sealer type spray (normally used on ht leads etc). Have you removed the blanking plates under the bonnet vents?

 

no the plates are still on. the cars been clunking something terrible when I turn right. its been into subaru and they aint got a clue what it is. thought praps it could be conected with the abs light coming on.

 

Hi, the relay is under the black lid next to the abs unit with all the brake pipes coming out.
It is on my95 your's might be the same.
