Hub Conversion: GC to GD?
I'm just looking for some advice from those of you who know the differences between the original GC and the Spec 3 chassis in more depth than I do.
Now, I know the GC chassis is set up with a PCD of 5 x 100mm, whilst the GD was changed to 5 x 114.3. I have also been told that the wheelbase was increased by 15mm and that this in combination with different control arms was used to increase caster.
But what I wanted to know is whether the wheel hubs themselves can be taken from the later model and used on a GC. I just don't have a clue how different or similar they are, but I do know that I'm currently spending quite a bit of cash on turning my scooby into a RWD drift car and have a lovely set of drift-specific wheels in mind, but they just aren't available in the 5 x 100 stud pattern. The alternative is to go the custom made route but knowing how expendable these parts can be whilst drifting I ain't really looking forward to the prospect of £600 per rim every time I pull a bead off. So, bearing in mind I don't care about ABS, front driveshafts etc. does anybody know whether the stubs or hubs and so on aretransferrable between the two types without any major cutting about?
Cheers!

And, for that matter, I might be uprating the rear diff to take the extra power anyway - though this wasn't an immediate plan - so rear shafts in the long term might also become obsolete. I guess it's the hubs themselves I need to compare. Any ideas? I'm getting the feeling I might be the only person to have ever wanted to do this
