Default Should fitting a different TMIC affect the running ??

Fitted a Newage TMIC to my 95 classic, it did have the slanted type now has the striaght type fitted.

but now it seems to run a bit weird, not poor but feels different, when giving it some beans it sounds alot more, only way to describe it is noisy really,on WOT,it sounds alot more gruff, exhaust seems louder as well, all very weird !!!!
no induction kit either.

is it just me ???

Could you post some pics of your engine with the new tmic fitted please.

I've always been told that fitting a tmic off an sti7/8/9 is more hassle than its worth.

Also you will need a remap for the safety of your engine and to get the best from the new tmic.

all mods need a remap to get the most out of them but you'll be fine driving it on tmic with no worrys as i drove my wrx with an sti tmic on it for months and no problems at all with it, plus had a full turbo back decat exhaust, up pipe and air intake on for months with out a remap and drove fine

The TMIC i got had already been modified to suit the early classics,so i cant take any credit for it, i just fitted it.

The BOV area has been welded over and the TMIC support brackets had been altered to suit,a very good Mod (Cheers Arch)

Took a bit of fiddling still tho,had to slightly adjust the metalpiece that is above the engine mount underneath the TMIC as the twin pipes of the TMIC fouled it and stopped it sitting right.

also a samco hose to suit the pipe work for the BOV was fitted
All i ned to do now is find some spacers to fit my strut brace as it fouls the new TMIC by a few mm and vibrates thru the car
