Default What oil and what grade was you using when your motor let go

What oil and what grade were you using when your motor let go! I keep hearing bad things about some oils. And also what the grade to use so was thinking lets find out what other owners experiences are! So please leave your input

Temp/pressure and oil age would be much more revealing, but I doubt many people monitor these parameters.
An oil brand bitching isn't going to be very useful TBH.

This is Not about oil brand bitching it is just to find out what oil and grade was used!

I used mobile 1 0/40 dont even ask why along with this i dint no about dry crank runing. I now use 15/50 same brand.

you need to make sure people only reply if they think their engine failure was oil related.
Engine failures are more commonaly causes by abuse, maf, or poor modifications.
Some people might not know and then start blaming the oil for the sake of it.

i use 10w 60 fully synth and it does my car fine Castrol edge
