would this have a redtop engine, ??? And a VF22 turbo ???

i don't think so best bet is to have a look as there should be some sort of ID mark on the front housing.

TD05-16G as standard unless it has been changed......TD05 is pretty easy to identify as the compressor housing is cast with a vertical 90 degree bend.

Good Luck and do post some feedback on what it was when you find out.

As I remember it they changed from 90 degree bend (TD) to direct (VF turbos) from October 1996 in Japan.
