Help, knocking rear end!.
Hi,
Car is a 2002 WRX bugeye - only suspension mods are rear ARB (Eibach) and powerflex drop links (alloy)
Not sure if it is suspension but my rear passenger side has started making a knocking sound at the rear, this is only noticeable when the car is warm and has been pushed a little. Particularly bad when turning right with any power on. Is this the death of the rear shock or something in the drive train do you guys reckon?

Most likely to be the death of your shocks mate, there aint much else back there that would make any sort of knocking noise other than frigged buses.
how many miles has the car done??
Is everything else around the back secure (including speakers and Jack etc)
Mine started off like yours and over time got worse and the knocking just became constant.

defo the the shocks mate, the standard ones are shoite. that happenened on my missus' blob sti, got them changed on a warranty job and they lasted a month then had to put more on. they're ok so far but if you're paying for them yourself i'd advise getting upraded ones, then you'll know they'll last
