Default Cam cover bolts - torque settings?

Just wondering if anyone knows the torque settings for the cam cover bolts for v3/v4 sti heads please?

Can't see them in the manual I've got for some reason so I'd be appreciative if anyone knows them for sure.

Cheers!

Anyone?

I know they don't go very tight but there must be tons of people here who've had cams covers off before.

Book spec is 5 Nm but i normally tighten until the washers/seals are seated and then a further 1/4 turn on each.
Never had one leak.

Many thanks Mick

Will have a meddle around to see how much difference there is between the 5Nm torque and the method you use and see what's what.

Much obliged (I suspect there are far worse things I should be worrying about after doing a first full rebuild....).

Cheers

I thought it was 10nm?? Be careful - they snap easily!
