Took my air filter and MAF off today to start working out a new setup and found a pipe that isn`t connected to anything, and it`s not blanked off either;






I`ve recently had Simtek fitted so not sure if it`s got anything to do with that.

Can anyone tell me if this pipe needs to go somewhere, if so, where ??

if im right i think it should go to your air filter box,looks like breather pipe of some sort

 

Cant really see on my 95 but is it not off the bottom of the boost solenoid???!!!

 

doesnt it go to the carbon canister?

 

Don`t think so, looks like all connections are ok ;

 

Is ur carbon canister still there? my mates 95 has it removed but ive still got mine(my99 uk)

looks like it connects to that big filter thing just behind light. im sure mine does

 

Looking back through some old photos before the engine was replaced and found one that shows this black canister with all 3 outlets connected.

Don`t have time now but will connect it back up tonight and see what happens.
