ppp cat replacement

Default ppp cat replacement

hi
on a 2004 sti ppp is the cat replacement pipe sort of covered or just bare stainless pipe totally uncovered.
mine seems to be shielded so im not sure.

the second pipe (decat) is just a plain pipe but they put the heat shield over it from the original cat pipe. if you unscrew the cover it should leave you with just a plain pipe.

Sorry to butt in chaps - but does the same go for the resonator pipe too - I had one from my old PPP Sti UK, but it looks shielded - should that be a straight "bare" pipe too.....or did they (PPP) leave it as standard thx

They leave the centre pipe as standard.
