Default cranks n blocks

will my crank for my wrx 98 v4 with main bearing in no5 position fit a v4 block with main bearing in no3 position

bought new block, that only diff, cheers

No it wont unless its a dual thrust crank which is un-likely.

what does that mean, lol, wud pics help of my block or do u av a pic of that crank etc ?

Some aftermarket cranks are dual thrust ( thrust position #3 and #5 ) but if your crankshaft is a Subaru item, they are different part numbers for centre and rear thrust.
Are you sure the MY98 block is rear thrust as its on the changeover year for centre to rear thrust.

yeh, my original block is rear thrust, the new one i got is center thrust. il take a pic tomorro of new block and send it too u

You will need a Centre thrust crank to fit the replacement V4 block then.
