Default Fitting side mount seats in a Classic

Not sure how others have done it, but tomorrow Im getting some box section welded into my Classic, as there arent enough flat areas for the side mount seats.

Anyone else gone down this route?

I stripped the old mountings of a set of seats and then used some flat bar. Welded the mountings on to the flat bar. Then sat the seats on top of the flat bar and marked where the holes needed to be drilled.

Cheers gents.

Any of you fitted a plumbed extinguisher? Just wondering where the nozzles should point (apart from engine bay)
