Default Fitting an Sti cooler

How easy are these to fit on a 96 Classic, i bought one today and it seems way to big and i cant get it positioned right... it wont fit down where its meant to....
I was told that these fit............... are there 2 types of Sti cooler, its got the outlet on the right hand side???

What year of car was the intercooler from?

The early cars vesrion 1/2 had a slanted intercooler. If you had an sti one from these models it should be a straight forward replacement. If its from the later cars that sits straight across then there is a little more work involved. I am sure there is a write up in the technical section. I will have a look and see if i can find the link.

Found a couple of links, the first one no longer has the pictures but explains what is needed.

Do search for fitting larger top mount and it should throw up some information.
