Is there a kit i can buy for the impreza (classic v3) so i can get rid of my afm as i can only find the kits for the evo .

Nope is the answer to that with the Power FC unless you can find a MafSim floating about, i spoke to Andy F about that 2 years ago now and he had stopped making them for various reasons. You could possibly get a std PowerFC and swap the MAF out for something like a Vane Pressure Converter HKS make one and spend some time setting it up, i helped my mate take one out of an old EVO3 the other day and that was running stock ECU with the HKS VPC and 550+..
