Default Please help Corrosion problems

Hey guys thanks for taking the time to look at my topic as I really need your help!

I have previously ever owned N/A engined cars and if I'm honest I'm not very clued up on the scooby engines.

My problem is this I need to find out what these parts are and if possible part numbers to replace these they are heavily corroded items.

I need to find out what the part the pipe under the cam case is its a rubber pipe with metal tube attached just above the exhaust and what it does?

Also as my car is a UK spec turbo 2000 and suspension needs upgarding due to being 10 years old idealy i wanted sti suspension but cant afford the stupid price tag I was told that my model comes with KYB shocks/stuts but would buying a fresh set alomg with sti springs be worth it or something more hardcore I dont track my car

any help you can give me is much appreciated

THe metal pipe between cam case and headers are part of the coolant system, it's prone to corrosion. I suppose it's metal to protect it from the exhaust heat, but I also suppose you could replace it with a long hose, preferably something heat resistant...
Do it while the engine is still out, its a b***h to get to when it's mounted!
XYB, D2, or similar will all work. D2's are pretty popular in Sweden, you can get them with specified springs.

the engine isnt out on mine its just a pic so i could show what i meant!
the exhaust heatshield is rusted beyond belief on mine so its a case trying to retsore the car the previous owner didnt apreciate the car and was a farmer so as u can imagine its been neglected a bit nothing major but shes gpnna be rust proofed/undersealed and rebuilt from ground up!

I had it cheap so i knew what i was in for
