Default Handbrake adjustment help

Hello

to adjust the handbrake on my subaru impreza turbo 1998, does the calliper and carrier and disc need to come off to get to the adjuster, or is there a easier way to do this????
Cheers
Phil

no remove the centre arm rest/handbrake trim under there you will find a lock nut that will allow you to adjust the hand brake mechanism.

Excellent mate sorted, thanks alot.

the car has been to 3 garages on a bank holiday monday and they would not touch it coz they said the wheels and callipers and discs need to come off and said they would not touch it incase there where any broken parts and they could not order them.
about a year ago i took the callipers off the carriers and discs off where there is a adjustment there on both sides what a nightmare, and it was as easy as out the way you told me 5 minutes
