boost control valve

Default boost control valve

hi all, bit of a novice when it comes to the subaru. Been looking on ebay at some manual boost control kits, firstly are they worth installing and secondly what else will i need if i were to run a manual control valve i.e gauges etc any help or info much appreciated!!!!!!!!

Have a manual boost controller on mine... running around .8Bar atm, did have it up to 1bar but was hitting fuel cut, so back down to .8.

I would reccomend getting a boost guage
