best back box for best sound?
hi, i have a 2.0 sport 1997, i have a stainless system from the manifold back, it has a decat pipe up the top end and a cat midsection, i tryed two decats but it made it sound awful, raspey and tractor like when accselerated fast, so ive gone back to having the mid cat, so i was wondering if any one has any tips on back boxes to creat the best note or what would suit my system the best? i dont no the make of the one thats on there now, cant find a make on it.
many thanks,
Lucy.

Hi, i don't know whther this will help you at all but on my old Impreza sport special Edition (see my garage).
I had a Borla manifold fitted (creates the scooby burble), both de-cats (i think they were the after burner vortex ones from Scoobyworld) and a race box back box (also from Scoobyworld).
It created a lovely note and also wasn't too loud for cruising down a motorway
